When we are closed

If you need to consult with a doctor outside of surgery hours and are unable to wait until the next working day, please call 111 or access their help online via www.111.nhs.uk

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 is a fast and easy way to get the right help - wherever you are and whatever the time.

Extended Hours Provision

We now offer extended hours provision through  our Primary Care Network. If you are unable to get an appointment at your own practice at a time that suits you, you may be able to book an appointment at another local practice. Your own practice’s reception team will be able to access these appointments, and book you in to them. The doctor or nurse that you see will be able to view your clinical record in order to support your care.

Brompton Health Primary Care Network, which we are members of has some appointments available outside of the standard surgery opening times, including weekends. These include consultations with a doctor or nurse. Please note that, as with other bookable appointments, they available on a first come first served basis.

NHS 111

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
